Hawktalon sighed, looking down at the ground. "Welll....besides us being half-clan, I think Horsestar misses Hawkeyes." he ran a paw though the dirt, picking up some small amounts of dust. "I mean, I can tell everytime he seees us together, all he thinks is Hawkeyes, and how he died." Hawktalon looked back at Sandfur, a sad look in his big, amber eyes; the same kind he got from his father. "My father was Horsestar's pride, ever since they were kits. So when he died...it broke his pride." ((sorry, that was the best I could do))

Sandfur felt a stab of sympathy for Hawktalon and rubbed her cheek against his in an attempt to comfort him. "I'm sorry," she meowed. "I shouldn't have asked.." Sandfur felt guilty for bringing up the death of Haweyes, which only added to her earlier insults of Horsestar.

Hawktalon just shugged. "Its OK. But still, sometimes I wish I was with Icepath, and my mother. I really miss both of them..." his voice trailed off as he looked at the ground again, remembering his time in MistClan with his white sister. Horsestar's eyes sadden as he overheard Hawktalon, and Sandfur's talk. He glanced up at the sky, seeing the sun start to set. "The battle will be starting soon." he compatiled, lashing his long from side to side.

ooc;; Battle? He's sending out rescue patrols, he never said anything about a battle.
Sandfur hung her head in silence with Hawktalon for a momet. She felt guilty for having a good life, and not being torn between her kin. Standing to her paws, the pale warrior brushed her tail against Hawtalon's shoulder as she walked past toward the warriors' den.

Hawktalon sighed. "See you later Sandfur!" he called to the snady-colored she-cat was she lefted for the warriors den. He glanced over at High Cliff, wondering what Horsesstar was thinking right about now. I hope we don't get caught; I would never, ever be able to fight Icepath, or Sunfur, the brown tabby thought in his mind as he watched Cream, and the kits play together.

Shallowflight watched anxiously at Horsestar as he sat on the Highcliff. His mind was filling with thoughts of the rescue patrol, and of invading MistClan's camp. He felt sick to his stomache, as though he could feel something was going to go horribly wrong. Glancing up at the sky, he could just see the sun at the edge of the gorge, and he suddenly stiffened. It was already sunset, and soon the moon would rise.
