Badgertail looked a bit surprised when Wolfstar announced Squirrelpaw's mentor. Looking at Jaytalon, she smiled. "You'd better get up there!" she nudged the black tom playfully. She loved it when kits recieved their Apprentice ceremony. It reminded her of her own, moons ago.

Owlcloud was extremely happy for Jaytalon. She remembered her first apprentice, Yellowtail. Hard to train yet always ready with extreme amounts of energy. "Congradulations," She meowed to Jaytalon.

Once the ceromy was over, Wolfstar let her voice rang out though the clearing. "And last, but not least, the cats that will go to the Gathering." the gray she-cat scanned the clearing, chosing the cats in her mind silenctly. "Ghostmask, Sandpaw, Squirrelpaw, Badgertail, Jaytalon, Owlcloud, and Foxcloud shall come to the Gathering tonight!"

Stormpaw's heart dropped as Wolfstar announced who was going on the gathering patrol. He sighed and stood up, trying not to look too downcast. Placing a half-hearted smile on his face, he trotted over to Sandpaw. "Hey, Sandpaw!" he greeted her, his smile changing into a grin. "Hope you have fun at the gathering." he mewed warmly.

Owlcloud went towards Stormpaw. "It's alright. I'm sure you will go next time." When she was an apprentice she always seemed to be left out of gatherings so she knew how it felt. "And think of it this way, you'll be less tired!" She meowed encouragingly

"Thanks," Sandpaw meowed the Stormpaw, she padded over to her mentor, Ghostmask. Sandpaw was buzzing with excitement , she was going to a gathering on her first day as an apprentice. She wondered what all the leaders and deputys would look like, she'd see so many knew faces at the gathering iut'd be hard to remember them all.

Jaggedstripe watched the gathering cats and followed Wolfstar out of camp, heading towards the Island.

As they were walking back to camp, Jaytalon turned to Wolfstar, "Well, that was..... Interesting." He mewed to the head cat. He was walking, but it was a bit of an awkward silence as he traveled with the Clan. "Are we going to take revenge on Owlscream for her actions?" He hoped he'd get to fight the she-cat after all.

Badgertail twitched her whiskers in annoyance. Since when did Owlscream have the right to make up that stupid rumor about Wolfstar being pregnant with Ghostmask's kits? It was partly true, but she knew for a fact that Ghostmask wasn't the Father-type. Sighing, she trotted over to the fresh-kill pile, planning on having a small meal before she went to sleep.

Wolfstar mumbled something about Owlscream, before stalking off to her den. Foxcloud looked over at Ghostmask, "Ghostmask, what were you thinking? Are you trying to get Wolfstar caught?" Ghostmask shanked back at the russet she-cat's sterm tone, "N-No madem,"
