Jaggedstripe scowled in disbelief. "You're already lying to your clan about having a rogue's kits!" he argued quietly. His eyes flickered around camp, hoping no one was listening in on their conversation.

Wolfstar flinched more at Jaggedstripe's words. "I didn't even wanted this!" she hissed back at the tom. Her yellow eyes blazed with anger, and sadness. It was true, she was lying to her clanmates, but what else could she do? They'd never handle the truth.

Jaggedstripe's tail twitched in annoyance. "If you never wanted this, why did you fall in love with a rogue?" he mewed, a bit more calmly.

Wolfstar stared at Jaggedstripe, then looked to the side, "I don't know, it just happened...." her voice was so quiet, it was almost a whispper. Wolfstar's ears went back, and her tail became low to the ground, until it was touching it.

Jaggedstripe's gaze softened, and he touched the distressed she-cat's shoulder with his tail-tip. "Well, there's nothing you can do except for loving your kits like any other queen." he comforted. Jaggedstripe wasn't exactly the best at cheering up cats in distress, but he had to try.

Wolfstar sighed, "Only they'll grow up without a father." she started walking to her den, dragging her tail in the dust, and her ears pinned back still.
Foxcloud watched the whoel scene from the warriors den. Seeing her sister walk off, she padded over to Jaggedstripe, "Wolfstar is feeling ashame of herself. She just feels like she'd betrayed StarClan, Darkclan, and the warrior code. I odn't blame her." Foxlcoud looked in Wolfstar's direction, sadness filling her amber eyes.

"Well she did!" he snapped. Almost instantly Jaggedstripe regretted what he'd said and sighed. "Foxcloud..I don't know what to do. Wolfstar is our leader, what if something goes wrong during the birthing? It would be my fault.." he confessed, letting the words spill out of his mouth. If there was any cat who could comfort Wolfstar, it was Foxcloud.

Foxcloud shook her head, "Wolfstar is strong. I know her better than anyone else, and I also know you won't let anything happen to Wolfstar's kits. For now, we just need to make sure nobody else knows about her kits until she wants to confeves the truth." even as she spoke these words, Foxcloud knew that she should be worried as well.

"I know..I just.." he began, than stopped short. "You're right, no one must know about this." he mewed sternly, as he said before to Wolfstar. Jaggedstripe's mind reeled with possibilities. "When did you find out about this? Don't lie to me." he asked, his ears perked.

"I found out as soon as Wolfstar first showed sighs of precncey. After I'd asked her who the father was, Wolfstar told me." Foxcloud flicked her white-tippped tail from to side. "I wish I knew how to help her better, but I just don't know how..."
