Ghostmask, Sandpaw, and Wolfstar headed off into the terriorty, keeping to the familer trails. "OK Sandpaw," Ghostmask meowed, turning towards his apprentice. They were near some huge piles of rocks, where the sunlight was bathing down on them. "This is Basking Rocks. Now, can you smell anything? Besides me or Wolfstar?" he asked, with a nerevous glance at Wolfstar. The thick-furred gray she-cat nodded, smiling warmly. ((make Sandy smell a F-O-X. A big one))

((me: Jaggedstripe, get your herbs ready!)) Ghostmask and Wolfstar looked at each other, then sniffed the air themselves. "Oh no...that's a fox!" Ghostmask meowed, his eyes widing. He moved closer to Sandpaw until thier pelts were almost touching. "Stay close together eveyo-!" Wolfstar started to say, then yowled as a massive, battle-scarred fox leapt out of nowhere, and sank its teeth into her leg. "Wolfstar!" Ghostmask cried, racing to the recuse.

Sandpaw watched as her mentor raced over to Wolfstar, the new apprentice stood there in fear. Her fur was fluffed up, though she was crouching low to the ground. This was only her second time out of camp, and she hadn't had a single second of battle training.

Ghotmask slashed his claws though the fox's ear, causing it let go of Wolfstar so it can hoel out in pain. Quickly rising to her paws, the DarkClan leader raced forward, and ripped into its soft underbelly. Ghostmask kept acttacking its face, blood spatting onto the ground. Suddenly, just as they were about to drive the fox off, it sank its teeth into Ghostmask's shoulder, causing him to screech. "Ghostmask!" Wolfstar yowled, racing forward to help her former apprentice. But the fox threw Ghostmask agaist Basking Rocks, and..."KKKKIAAAAHHHAAA!!!" Wolfstar screamed in pure pain as the fox sank its blood-stained fangs in her round belly. ((let Sandpaw drive the fox away!))

Sandpaw shook herself, realizing that her clanmates needed help. Searching her brain for the moves apprentices would sometimes show her and Squirrelpaw, she sprang forward hiting the foxes muzzle. The ginger creature turned away from Wolfstar and toward her. Sandpaw growled, "S-stupid flea b-bag!" she was sure it didn't sound threatning, but it was all she could say. The fox lunged for her, and she narrowly missed is, though it grabbed hold of her tail and bit down. The sandy apprentice yanked her tail away from the fox and sprang at it again. This time she his it directly in the eye, a lucky shot. She seemed to have damaged it's eyes, since blood was pouring from it, and it's sight. She slid underneath it, trying to slice her claws down it's belly. The fox kicked her back out, though now it's belly was bleeding. It snapped at her, bitting Sandpaws front paw. "No-STOP!" she screamed, pure anger rising from her, eyes narrowed, Sandpaw ran behid the creature and chomped down on it's leg. It tried to shake her off, but she held on with all her might and finally it ran off, limping. "Woah," Sandpaw breathed, realizing she'd chased off a fox.

Ghostmask limped over to Sandpaw. "I-I-I...I can't believe what I just saw!" he meowed, his pale green eyes wide. Blood stained the warrior's body, a deep cut on his leg, three of his claws were broken, and a thin piece of flesh hung from his shoulder. "Wait until we te-" he was cut off by the sound of moaning. Turning his head around, Ghostmask gasped in sheer horror. "Wolfstar!!!" he screamed, racing towards his leader. Wolfstar laid amon a fern brush, her whole body caked with blood, all of it hers. Her eyes were half closer, blood drippped from the coners of her mouth, gashs-and-cuts spread everywhere. But the worse wound, was in the worse place possible. Blood poured from Wolfstar's belly, creating a pool as she laid there. "Oh god, her kits...Sandpaw! Stay here with Wolfstar while I get help!" Ghostmask ordered his apprentice, then burst off running towards camp. StarClan, please let Wolfstar live!

Sandpaw nodded, limping over to Wolfstar. Her front paw ached, but Wolfstar's wounds were worse. She watched in horror as the blood poured from her leaders wounds, she didn't know what to do. Come one Jaggedstripe!

"Sandpaw! Wolfstar!" Foxcloud called as the recuse patrol came up. The reddish she-cat scooted over to Wolfstar, gasping in horror at her wounds. "Oh my goodness...Wolfstar!" Foxcloud cried, bending down near her head, trying to wake her older sister up. Ghostmask was near Wolfstar's belly wound. "Jaggedstripe, her kits are in danger!" he meowed, his black front paws getting soaked in blood from the wound itself.

Jaggedstripe's eyes were wide with sheer horror and his paws were rooted to the ground for a moment as he stared at Wolfstar's wounds. Though he snapped back to reality and pushed a pile of Feverfew leaves towards Wolfstar. "Eat these, quickly." he mewed, though he realized that she didn't have the strength and she was losing blood fast. He shoved the leaves in her mouth and forced her to chew, stuffing them down her throat when they were chewed up enough. It will help her body temperature cool down. He then took a clump of moss and soaked up the large amounts of blood on top of Wolfstar's stomache so he could see the wounds. Jaggedstripe placed the bloody moss to the side and grabbed clumps of cobwebs. He stuck them onto the most severe wounds and pressed on them lightly, so they would stick. "Someone go back to camp and get me some Dock leaves." he rasped brisquely.
