Eliza began to calm down as she felt his chin rest atop her head. She felt her muzzle grow warmer as she burrowed deeper. "What happens if someone sees?" she asked, closing her eyes softly as she tried her best to relax.

Tornshadow closed his eyes and said nothing for a moment. His large, lean body was gently curled around Eliza with his long-furred tail intwined with hers. "It won't matter if someone sees us." he whispered softly. Suddenly his heart lurched as he remember he was a clan cat. Swallowing hard, he lifted his head from Eliza's head and looked down into her silver eyes. "Eliza.. I can't stay here." he choked, regretting every word.

Eliza felt her heart lurch. But... she didn't want him to go.... She wanted to be warm. "But....*sigh* I know..." she mewed sadly, rubbing her muzzle under his chin. She to be honest was scared to walk home alone, knowing Coyote would be lurking somewhere.

Tornshadow sighed. He didn't want to leave her as much as she didn't want him to, but he had no choice. "I'll walk you home.." he grunted, gently moving away from Eliza. His once thoughtful and warm eyes were now dull with regret but he tried not to show it that much.

Eliza crouch underneath a holly bush. She knew it was early, but she couldn't wait. She purred at the thought wishing his scent was still on her pelt. But she would see him eventually.
She sneezed a little, feeling a shiver run down her spine. Cold.... in the middle of NewLeaf?
She must've gotten sick...... Oh..... She was so stupid..... But she couldn't risk moving out of the bush NOW! Someone might see. She sneezed again.
Darn it!

Tornshadow pelted silently through the grassy moore. All of his senses were alert to make sure that no one caught him. Was she even there yet? It's wasn't even sunset yet. Tornshadow decided he would go anyway, and wait for her if he was early. When he got to the Flower Patch, he gazed around for a familiar brown and white pelt, but no one was there. He must've been early. "Eliza?" he called out, but no one replied. Suddenly, he scented a sweet scent coming from down-wind, which wasn't the flowers. His heart fluttering in hope, he followed the scent until he reached a large hollybush. Leaning down, he recognized the silver eyes of Eliza. Tornshadow purred and pushed through the bush. He curled up around Eliza's body and frowned when he felt her fur cold. "Eliza.. you're cold.." he murmured, beginning to rasp his tongue against her pelt in long, rythmic strides.

Eliza's heart fluttered as she felt his warmth wrap around her and his tongue along her fur. She purred almost too loudly and nuzzled her head under his chin and smiled. "I missed you." she said softly, intertwining her tail with his.

Tornshadow smiled. His calm blue eyes bore into Eliza's eyes. "And you think I haven't?" he frowned good-heartedly. "Selfish little she-cat." he teased lightly, wrapping his front legs around her in a warm embrace. He lay there in silence for a long time, breathing in Eliza's sweet scent. He wanted to hold her like that forever.

Eliza purred and began to rasp her tongue over his cheek. She lifted her head, making sure no one had followed her. Then she began to nervously groom the fur under his chin. "I think one of my friends knows something's up Tornshadow...." she mewed nervously, licking his ears.

Tornshadow stiffened. "R-really?" he asked, trying to keep his voice steady. "Are they friends with any wild cats?" he asked warily. If one of his clanmates found out, he'd be driven out of BreezeClan forever. But he would never leave Eliza.
