Tornshadow let out a sigh of relief. He felt as though a huge weight had just been lifted from his shoulders. He got off of Pebblespot and nodded to him gratefully. "Thank you, Pebblespot.. you don't know how much this means to me.." he murmured to his friend. Tornshadow padded beside Eliza and twined his tail with her.

Eliza rubbed her head against his cheek. "Thank you Mister Pebblespot sir...." she purred, huddling up against him in the cold.
Pebblespot nodded his head. tornshadow was one of his best friends. he owed it to him. "Just make sure you stay out of the territory when you see her, I'll only be able to cover for you once." he pointed.

Tornshadow nodded, and flicked an ear to Eliza as a signal to leave. He glanced around one last ime before racing off towards the TwolegPlace border with Eliza by his side. If they were to stay out of the territory, then that's exactly what they would do.

Eliza followed right at his side. "I'm sorry." She said softly. She felt guilty, ike it wa her fault he had to go through so much trouble to see her.

Tornshadow licked Eliza's ears lovingly. "Sorry for what?" he murmured. They came to the Thunderpath and crossed it carefully into the TwolegPlace.

Pebblespot had taken shelter in a tree earlier on, and had fallen into a deep sleep only to be woken up by pawsteps approaching near him. He looked down to see a very disgruntled Tornshadow walking back to camp it seemed. "Hey buddy, why the long face?" he asked, hopping down from the tree.

Tornshadow sighed angrily. "Kittypets are so frustrating.." he grumbled as he sat down next to his friend. He stared up at the darkening sky as the sun was barely above the horizen. Why did he have to storm off like that? Especially when Eliza was sick.. But she has her twolegs to take care of her. he reminded himself in his thoughts.

Pebblespot had a sorry look on his face. "Something happen with Eliza bro?" he asked, flicking his ears a little in the moist air. He rubbed a damp paw over his frizzed up fur.

Tornshadow frowned and closed his eyes. "Nah, just these mousebrained kittypets coming out of nowhere." he growled. He couldn't keep living like this, with all these strangers walking up to them every second. It was ridiculous, really.
