Gray tried not to look crest fallen, "Yeah, of course. I don't like it when my owner gets upset either." Gray shuffled his paws awkwardly.

(ANOTHER ONE! My character Hornetkit has two shekits who like him. WHY MY CATS WHY? Oh well, love triangles are fun.)
Eliza felt bad. She knew she'd hurt her friends feelings. "I'm sorry Gray." she mewled. She hung her head.
She looked at the sky and realized it was now or never. "Uh, hey Gray I gotta go. I'll see you later ok?" she meowed before dashing off.

Gray's heart ached a little. He watched her leave. "Bye,"He meowed, but it wasn't anything more than a whisper. He turned around and jumped up over the fence. As he walked back his tail dragged and his head hung low.

Eliza lowered her head. "For making you go through all this trouble just to see me." she said, ashamed of herself. "Oh why couldn't I be born a clancat?" she said, sitting down on her haunches.

Tornshadow stopped and looked Eliza in the eyes. "Being a clan cat would've changed you." he murmured. "I love you for who you are." He touched noses with her and stood like that for a moment. He drew back his head and twined his long-furred tail with hers.

Duchess padded out of her home, filled after a delicious meal. The pretty she-cat jumped up on top of the fence to investigate what was going on around her. A couple houses down she could see the figure of Eliza, and some other cat. But Duchess didn't much care, as long as Eliza didn't hang around her she was okay.

Eliza smiled and flushed as he touched her nose. She licked the front of his muzzle and nuzzled underneath his chin. "I love you..." she whispered, closing her silver eyes and relaxing against him.
