Eliza nodded. "It's fine, Duchess doesn't bother me really...." she shuffled her paws. Her whiskers still had her nervous twitch, thinking about the tom from earlier.

"Hello, Gray." Winnie meowed to the tom, then looked at Eliza, "Then whats bothering you?" Winnie had just been listening to their conversation, but nwo she was butting in.

Eliza's ears flattened as she was questioned. "N-nothing I swear!" She was a horrible liar. Her telltale sign was her tapping tail tip.

Winnie could sense the she-cats unease, "Okay then," she meowed, still uncertain. She knew Eliza was hiding something, but Winnie didn't want to badger her. If she wanted anyone to know, she'd have already told them. Winnie padded off, not too far away, and rested on some rocks in the garden. They were a good spot for sunning, the rocks soaked in the sun making them warm.

Eliza swallowed. "I'll get out of everyone's fur... Bye everyone." she mewed, hopping out of the garden. She trotted over until she reached the thunderpath, fur fluffed up in anxiety. "Oh what am I gonna do...." she mumbled to herself. "Should I go... what if he's just gonna yell at me..... but what if he's nice and friendly..... but he seemed mad earlier...." she had a tendancy to talk to herself.

Gray's fur fluffed out in confusion, "I... I'll go talk to her." Gray ran off in the direction he saw Eliza go. Pretty shecats sure are odd... He finally tracked her down. "Eliza?"

Eiza's ears perked when she heard Gray's voice again. She had made her way up into a large tree by then. 'Gray? What are you doing here?" she asked in surprise.

Gray peered up into the tree. He gave her a friendly and encouraging smile, "Why do you keep running? Is everything... Okay?" Concern sparkled in his eyes and his tail flicked nervously. He was friends with almost all the cats in the twoleg place... And naturally he tries to look out for them.

Eliza was itching to tell someone and Gray was a good friend, better than Duchess anyways..... But what would his reaction be... "Well.... nothing's WRONG..... but not everything is... per say... okay either...." she mumbled.

((The sun is starting to set.))
Grace cocked her head when Eliza left so suddenly and then trotted over to her Mother as Gray left after Eliza. "Mom, it's my fault that I made Eliza feel bad." she mewed quietly with her head hung. If only she wasn't teasing her so much, maybe she wouldn't have left.
