Ice sat and began licking her bloody paw, "No... Mind you buisness." Her tail began to thump irritatedly and impatiently, "What about you? You..." She didnt know what to say next.

Alvin saw her bloody paw and became worried, ignoring her question. "Hey what did you do to yourself?" he asked, examining the appendage.

Ice's tail stopped thumping. "I jumped on an old twoleg nail." She meowed through licks. It was sore and warm, she hoped it wasn't getting infected.

Alvin looked at it closely. "There's a piece of shrapmetal still stuck in it. One second, this will hurt." he quickly ripped out the bit of metal with his white teeth.

Ice's jaw clenched shut with pain. She tried not to yowl with all her might. Blood started to poor from the wound and she began licking carefully, though the pain was still agonizing.

Alvin spat out the shrapmetal. "Sorry, it would have gotten infected if it wasn't out. Feel any better?" he asked with a concerned expression.

Ice looked up and saw Alvin's concerned face, "Fine... its okay." Her meow was gritted and full of pain. The blood was starting to stop flowing.

Alvin began to lick the injured paw. "It'll be better once the bleeding stops entirely. For now, you should probably stay off it, you don't want to get dirt in it." he said.

Alvin could sense irritation. "It should feel better in a day or two." he mewed, wrapping his tail around his paws.
