Ice nodded, "Yeah i really hope it feels better soon." The pain was starting to subside and she took a breath of relief. "Thanks."

Alvin smiled. He was glad she was feeling better. "Are you hungry?" he asked with a kind grin. It wasn't sarcastic or cheesy like his others, but genuine.

Alvin smiled. "I have a friend who can get us something to eat!" he meowed happily, leading her towards twoleg place.

Ice saw where he was going, "No way, no way am I leaving the alleyway and going there" That's where she met Fire. She definitely didn't want bad memories coming back to her.

Alvin flattened his ears in surprise. "Why? It's either that or go hungry!" he said defensively.

Ice's hungry belly growled. She really didn't want to, but she had to. "Yeah, of... Of course," She meowed quietly. What other choice did she have?

Alvin hopped over the large fence and spotted a trash can, and waited for Ice to follow.

Ice looked at the fence, it seemed so daunting to her. She took a deep breath and jumped over, landing beside Alvin. She let out a small yelp from her injured paw.

Alvin placed his paw over her injured one. "Hey, take it easy. Now be care careful. I'm going to get the food from the trash can. " He led her off the can as he flipped the lid, tipping the container over. "Twolegs always throw away perfectly good food." he said with a smile.
