Shadowclaw rolled his shoulders and raised his hackles in a long yawn. He turned his eyes at Venomsnake and dipped his head in respect. "Then we wait." he murmured before slipping away in the night shadows. His blue eyes gloomed in the darkness as he entered the Warriors den, curling up in his nest as soon as he saw it.

"Oh, sorry." Wildpaw meowed sadly, pinning his ears back. He sat back down, holding his chin on his paw. "We need to think of something..." he muttered, then perked his ears as he remebered something. "You know what? The Gathering's tonight!"

Nettlepaw shook his head warily. "So?" he mewed, digging his claws into the ground in frustration. There was nothing they could do to stop Venomsnake from being, well, Venomsnake. Even the most kind cat in the world could warm his cold heart.

Wildpaw felt another idea form in his mind. "If Hawkstar doens't let Venomsnake go to the Gathering, maybe we can spread rumors about him. Say stuff that will make people change thier mind on him about being a great warrior." Wildpaw didn't know if idea would word, but it was worth a shoot.

Nettlepaw sighed in frustration. "Wildpaw, you just don't get it!" he growled, turning and brsuhing past his friend briskly. He emerged from the Apprentices den, surprised that the moon was already making its way to the top of the sky.
Hawkstar appeared from the large roots that held his den and trotted over to Venomsnake briskly. "Venomsnake, go get Runningleap, Owlscream, Cinderwing, Wildpaw and Tanglepaw. You're going to the gathering along with them." he instructed, flicking his tail.

Venomsnake dipped his head at Hawkstar, "Yes Hawkstar." leaping down from his rock, he thundered into the warriors den. Spotting both Runningleap, and Owlscream, he podded both of them in the side. "Wake up, we're going to the Gathering." he growled to both of them.
Wildpaw followed Nettlepaw. As he open his mouth to say sorry, he heard Hawkstar tell Venomsnake that he was going. A look of disappointed spread over his tabby face.

Runningleap's green eyes cracked open as he felt something sharp jab into his side. "Wha-? Oh, right, of course." he muttered, releasing a long yawn as he emerged from the Warriors den. He slowly made his way towards Hawkstar, trying to keep his eyes open as he stretched his legs along the way.

"You don't have to be mean about it!" the others can hear Owlscream say as she padded out of the warriors den, Venomsnake right behind her. Reaching the others, Owlscream grinned at Wildpaw, "Awwe what's the matter, you upset that your little scarey boyfriend isn't going with you? Hahahahaha!" she laughed at her cruel joke.
"Shut up Owlscream!" Wildpaw hissed.

Hawkstar twitched his tail-tip in annoyance as Venomsnake returned without Tanglepaw or Cinderwing as he'd requested. "Had you forgotton to bring Cinderwing and Tanglepaw?" he mewed firmly, his eyes narrowed. Venomsnake may be tough, but he could be a dunce sometimes.
