Fernwhisper sat up in her nest, she groomed her fur a bit, licking out all the scraps of moss. She padded out of the warriors den, and into the clearing. The tabby she-cat scooped out a mouse from the fresh-kill pile. "Morning," she said polietly to Runningleap and Silkpelt, then continued to eat the brown creature.

"Can Owlscream ever hold her temper?" Silkpelt replied to Runningleap. Owlscream was definetly something, and not a good kind of something. She almost broke the truce! Silkpelt definitly was suspisous of the she-cat, and Venomsnake took for that matter.

Runningleap scoffed. "I don't think so.." he joked. Clearing his throat, he looked up at Silkpelt with a suddenly concerned gaze. "Can I.. talk to you in private for a second?" he asked, twitching his whiskers.

"Sure," She meowed, wondering what the tom wanted to tell her. Maybe he's just angry about the comment i made about Owlscream she thought, but why would he want to tell me that in private?

Runningleap swallowed as they padded to a shady spot besides the camp barrier. When they arrived he sat down and looked at his paws for a moment. Why are you bringing this up again? he asked himself in his mind before opening his jaws to speak. "I-er.. I keep thinking about what happened a few days ago.." he started, wondering if he sounded like a mousebrain. "When Owlscream said what she said to you.." he looked up at Silkpelt. "Why would you listen to her?"

Silkpelt froze, this was a topic she usually tried to oviode. "I-um," she gazed at Runningleap, perhaps she should tell him. She felt as if she could trust the tom. "Well, my father he wasn't exactly the nicest cat." she meowed quietly, looking down at her paws. "He sort of blamed me for my mothers death. He made...nasty comments about me." she meowed, memorys comming back into her head. But if she did want to get over this, she'd have to tell someone. She still looked down at her paws her blue eyes forming tears. She was trying to oviode Runningleaps gaze. He probably thought she was a mouse-brain.

Owlscream walked out of the warriors den, her fur fluffed up. Yawning loudly, she went over to her favorite spot; the cool shade of the walnut tree. Sitting down, she began to groom her cream-white, fawn speckled pelt.
Wildpaw padded out of the apprentice den yawning. To help wake himself up, he shook out his cream tabby coat.

Runningleap listened quietly as Silkpelt told her about her Father. When she finished a long silence fell between the two until sighed. "It's not your fault, you know.." he murmured, before looking at Silkpelt once more. "You shouldn't listen to anyone.. because what they say are only lies.." he mewed, touching Silkpelt's shoulder with his tail-tip in an attempt to comfort the she-cat.

"I know," Silkpelt sighed, she just couldn't help it. Being rejected by my father, that must of really messed me up she thought bitterly. I have to stop thinking negitivly, it's eating up my self confidense!

Runningleap frowned at Silkpelt's reply but said nothing. "Don't beat yourself up." he urged, gazing into her blue eyes for a long time. Once he realized how mousebrained he looked staring at Silkpelt like that he flushed a little. "I-er, sorry for wasting your time.." he stammered before turning and trotting off towards the Warriors den to think for a moment.
