Sandfur held in a giggle and forced herself to run faster. "And I wasn't named Sandfur for nothing!" she called, whisking past him like sand blowing through the wind. Her ears were pinned against her head and her tail streamed out from behind her. As the sun had completely submerged in the sky, the moon was slowly starting to rise, sparking beautiful colors of purple and blue mixed with orange and pink in the sky. Suddenly, Sandfur saw in the distance that the Flower Patch was going to end soon. "Still think you can beat me?" she taunted, casting a quick glance at Horsestar, who was now behind her.

"Yes I can!" Horsestar called after taking a few deep breathes. Gathering speed in his legs, the calcio raced pasted Sandfur, looking like a mixed colored burr. As soon as he reached the end of Flower Patch, he spun around to stop, dirt flying in the air. "W-What d-do y-you t-think, of me now?!" he asked, breathing hard.

Sandfur tried to make her legs run faster, bu couldn't. Horsestar had already past her and was standing at the end of the Flower Patch in victory. Slowing her pace to a trot, she stood infront of the large calico tom. "You?" she mewed between breathes. "I think you're a bit prideful." she teased, flicking his ear with her long-furred tail.

"Me? Pridefull?" Horsestar pretend to make a shock face, raising a paw to his chest. "Oh please, that could never happen." he meowed, half closeing his green eyes to look up. The moon sailed over head, brighting up all of Flower Patch. "I just rezlaied something." Horsestar meowed, suddnely looking serious.

((Pfft, what do you have up your sleeve, Horsestar?))
The pretty she-cat snorted. "Is that so?" she asked, a grin playing at her lips. Though for a second Sandfur's smile vanished when Horsestar placed a serious expression on his face, but it came back in a short moment as she raised a brow. "You can't fool me Horsestar, I know you're scheming of some joke." she mewed matter-of-factly, holding her chin in the air in victory.

"This is no joke Sandfur." Horsestar turned to the sandy-colored she-cat, his tail tip twitching. "I haven't see Hollyheart or Graywing all day." a sudden sigh of fear, and shock flashed in the calcio's green eyes. "What if they crossed the boreder?!"

((Horsestar will find out they're gone at sunhigh the next day.))
Sandfur tilted her head in a confused look. "Hollyheart and Graywing? Well, they left only a few moments before we came out here." she pointed out before continuing. "They're probably already back at camp." she assured the anxious leader, placing her fluffy tail-tip on the calico tom's shoulder.

Horsestar sighed, "You're problemly right." he looked up at the sky, the full moon's light splashing onto his fur. "We should get back to camp, so onebody worries about us." he meowed, suddely sounding tired.

((Lol, Wild. Clans have gatherings on the full moon. XD))
Sandfur nodded and followed Horsestar's gaze up to the night sky, amdiring the bright moon which was now 3/4 full. Her pale colored fur glistened brightly in the moonlight, appearing as though there were stars in her pelt. She directed her gaze on Horsestar. "Too bad.." she murmured quietly. She had wanted to lay beneath the stars which were now quickly filling the sky.

Horsestar jerked his head in the dicretion of camp. "Come on, let's go." flicking his spotted/striped tail, he started towards camp with Sandfur by his side. After a long time of silence, Horsestar cleared his throart. "You know, sometimes I wish Runningstar had chosen Hawkeyes as deputy instead of me."
