Eliza's heart lurched. Oh snap... "R-really? I hadn't noticed.... Wha-what do I smell like?" she asked slowly, feeling nervous once more. Oh no oh no oh no. What if someone found out? She wouldn't be able to see Tornshadow again.

"Well I mean it smells like you spent the night out side. You didn't get into trouble with your owners have you?" Gray aske curiously hoping Eliza hadn't.

Eliza let out a nervous laugh. "O-Oh.. no.... I didn't get into any trouble, don't worry." she mewled shakily, trying but failing miserably to keep her cool "I just went out walking till late." she finished. She was a terrible liar.

Gray had a feeling that Eliza was lying to him. "Oh... Okay well that's good. You know... If anything would happen, I'm always here." Gray meowed meaning every word.

Eliza nodded slightly, still trying to keep her cool. "Thanks Gray, you know I would do the same." she meowed, a slight purr rumbling in her throat. Gray was a close friend and she hated lying to him, but her reltionship with Tornshadow would be at stake if she didn't.

Eliza caught the hint. He knew she was lying! Mousedung! "Y-yeah... anything......" she knew that both Tornshadow and Gray would be mad if she revealed what was going on.

Gray eyed her down, "Okay then. So can I at least help you wash the scent off? It... just smells odd." Gray meowed hoping that she would tell him eventually.

(I sense that Gray might have crush on Eliza.... that or he's reeeeaaallly friendly)
Eliza shook her head. "N-no thank you, I can get it myself. I appreciate your though though." she said. Was Tornshadow's scent really that strong?

(Eh kinda both  In real life he really is super friendly!) "Okay-" Before Gray could finish his sentence, Butters, his owner's brother's cat pounced on him. Gray let out a starteled meow. Butters got off of him and looked at Eliza, "Who are you and why do you smell odd?" |
