Eliza smiled "I'm ok... especially now that you're here." she murmured then looked in her fence. "Let's try hiding under the porch. I'm sure no one will notice us there." she whispered, leading him under the deck. Tornshadow was always amused at how Eliza was leading him into places where no one could find them. He smiled warmly and followed her below the so-called, "porch" and lay down curled around her. "Did your twoleg take care of you?" he asked, still worried that Eliza may be sick. |

Eliza hung her head "I didn't go in last night... I slept on the porch.." she said "Sorry..." she mewed, laying her head in her paws, and looking back up at him, her silver eyes glowing in the dim light.

Tornshadow's eyes widened and he wrapped his front legs around Eliza, pressing her into his warm fur. "Are you crazy? You can get sick like that!" he meowed, his voice full of concern. He rasped his tongue across her fur in long, rythmic strides. "Don't be sorry, I'm the one who's sorry." he murmured quietly.

Eliza purred and closed her eyes happily "You of all people don't need to be sorry. " She licked his cheek and between his eyes "This is the first time I've seen you like this during the day, did something happen?" she asked, rolling playfully on top of him.

Tornshadow sighed, trying not to laugh as Eliza rolled over and on top of him. "I.. I just.. feel so stupid for being a jerk to you." he lied. Well, that wasn't a complete lie, but that was only part of the reason why he was acting gloomy all day.

Eliza licked his chest fur. "You are anything but a jerk... You are the sweetest to I've ever met, and dont you ever think otherwise!" she meowed, pressing her nose to his and rubbing it gently.

Tornshadow couldn't help but submit to Eliza's sweet purrs and relaxed under her body. He warmed up when she touched her nose to his and licked her cheek. His large paws were wrapped around her back as they lay beneath the porch. "Eliza.." he began, but struggled to find his next words.

Eliza giggled and rested his chin on his chest and smiled "Yeah?" she asked, tilting her head to the side and burying deeper into his fur, purring loudly.

Tornshadow decided to keep himself quiet. He didn't want to ruin Eliza's happiness at that moment. "Nothing." he purred, closing his eyes in relaxation. He knew that he would have to confront her about it. About leaving the clan to live with her.

Eliza lifted an eyebrow and licked under his chin, enticing him to give in and tell her what he was going to say. "C'mon Tornshadow, you can tell me!" she put on the cutest face she possibly could "Pleeeaaase?" she continued rasping her tongue on his throat.
