Flamekit sneered, "What's wrong Dawnkit, afraid of a little dirt?" he mewed with the utmost intention to offend Dawnkit.
Dawnkit rolled her eyes and spoke in a sassy tone, "Like I said Flamekit, not everyone can be as perfect as you." She then turned around swiftly and padded out from the nursery irritated.
Flamekit stared after her and sat down for a moment to lick his paw. "Some cats don't know when to stop being so abnormal and start to live a little."

Cream perked her ears when an unfamiliar kit walkedout of a big cave. "Hello, I'm Cream, what's your name?" she chirped, greeting the pretty gray she-kit with a smile. She felt excited, and she wanted to meet everyone in the clan.

Dawnkit stopped and looked up at the cream she-cat. She avoided eye contact but manage to mew, "I.. I'm Dawnkit." Dawnkit felt a bit vulnerable having the attention from the kit and she wasn't used to talking with other members of the clan.

Cream took a step back in worry. Dawnkit didn't look very enthusiastic to see her. "Would you.. like to come play with us?" she asked kindly, pointing to Lizzy, Crowkit and Cherrykit with her tail.

Dawnkit noticed Cream's caution around her and started to think differently for a second. Dawnkit glanced down at her paws, How bad could it be? She then looked back up into Cream's eyes and gave the best shy, but friendly, smile she could muster, "Sure."

Cream relaxed a bit. "Great!" she chirped. She lead Dawnkit over to the other kits and smiled. "Hey, can Dawnkit play with us too?" she asked. Cream knew that she was too old to goof around, but she didn't care.

As Dawnkit was led over to the other group of kits she looked towards her sun bathing spot longingly. She quickly snapped out of her trance and sat down when Cream and her showed up by the other kits. Dawnkit seized up a little and wrapped her tail around her legs tightly.

Pebblespo arrived back in camp with Tornshadow following. He knew the brown tabby warrior would be distant for a while and decided not to bother him any further and instead decided to head inside the nursery to say hello to Shiningfire.

Tornshadow followed Pebblespot down the Rock Path, then stopped half-way and turned into the Warriors den. He flicked his friend a good-bye with his tail before entering the large cave. Tornshadow sighed and curled up in his nest. Things could be so stressful.

Flamekit looked up at Shinningfire, "Do you think Dawnkit will ever make any real friends? Wind and leaves can't be that good of companions. I mean, she's never around any other kits! Never playing with any of us, just laying down. Lazy mouse-brain"
