Shadefur smiled weakly when Nightflower called her "Mother". She hadn't been called that in a very long time, maybe even never. "What I did was not a mistake.." she continued. "And you've always treated me with respect, just like any other clan mate." Shadefur paused and coughed a bit, then settled down. |

Nightflower just kinda stood there, with a shocked look on her face. She'd never seen this side of her mother, after a long pause she meowed "W-we forgive you." Ravenfeather nodded, she agreed with her sister. She guessed it might finaly be time they had a "happy" family.

For once in a long, long time, Shadefur smiled. It was a small smile, but it contained the biggest thank you she could offer. "I'm sorry," she apoligized once more. "You leave old Shadefur now, Sunfur might want you on her patrol." she rasped, flicking her tail at Sunfur, who was standing just outisde the medicine den.

"Okay,"Ravenfeather meowed, dipping her head. Ravenfeather was a bit realuctant to go, finally she padded out of the warriors den with Nightflower. "Oh, Sunfur. Do you want us for a hunting patrol?" she asked polietly.

Shadefur watched her Daughters' leave the Medicine den and sighed. Apoligizing won't take back the scars you've made on their lives, a voice in her head echoed.
Sunfur swiveled her ears toward Ravenfeather and Nightflower. "Sure! If that's alright with the two of you." she purred. Glancing up at the sky, she noticed the sun was lower than it had been at Sunhigh. "We should get going though, before it becomes late." she pointed out.

"Yeah, okay lets go." Nightflower meowed she padded out of camp, the two others with her. Though the black warrior couldn't get her mind off of her mother, she still couldn't believe she'd appologized. Nightflower just had to see if she kept being that nice.

Cloudfur yawned and heaved himself to his paws after taking a nice sunbath. Almost immediately he started for the apprentices' den, where he would talk with his friends, but then stopped when he realized that he was a warrior now. He snorted at his dumb thinking, and instead swerved his route toward the pile of fresh-kill, not knowing what he should be doing.

Skullkit sighed as he finally curled up in his nest. He hadn't been able to sleep all day. He just... felt uneasy. His pelt shivered and his head throbbed as he remembered when the Breezeclan cats had invaded the turf.

Flamekit opened one eye when he heard Skullkit flop down in the next beside him, and he slowly crawled out from underneath his Mother's tail. The flame-colored kit bounded over to him and prodded his ear with a paw. "Hey, Skullkit!" he whispered so to not wake Goldenheart. He wondered why he looked so gloomy, and felt like he should cheer him up.

Skullkit's eyes brightened. "Hey Flamekit!" he hung his head "Sorry about pinning you down earlier...." he mumbled, shuffling his paws. He really did feel bad. He hadn't meant to hurt the smaller kit. And Goldenheart had really made herself clear that she was very, very angry with him.
