Newleaf has finally arrived and the clans are starting to get busy. With the weather warm and the sun shining all is going well. But while the clans are getting along, the prey seems to be coming rather slowly this season..

Dovefeather stepped out of the warriors den. She was quite happy with such a warm and comfortable sleep. She looked around the camp, no one was out at the moment, only the camp entrance guard.
"Hello, spiderwing," She greeted her friend.
"Oh, morning," Spiderwing replied in a big yawn.
"Nice morning, isn't it?" -dovefeather
"Yes, not to hot and not to cold. I think, newleaf is my favorite season."-spiderwing
"Really?" -Dovefeather
"Yep."-spiderwing
"You like it more than Greenleaf?"-dovefeather
"Yes, its to hot in Greenleaf."-spiderwing
"Oh, ok then, im going to go wake up my lazy apprentice, i wanted to see what we can catch this morning." Dovefeather replied as she walked away to the apprentices den.

Goldenheart sat by the fresh-kill pile, mealing on a young sparrow. Prey would've been brought to her in the nursery by one of her clanmates, but she hated being a burden to them, so she got it herself. She could feel the tiny movements of her unborn kits, soon they would be born. But for now, her belly will remain swollen and large.

"Morning, Goldeheart! have you seen rainpaw around? we were supposed to go hunting but i can't find him anywhere!" Dovefeather asked as she appeared from the darkness of the apprenitces den, and padded over to Goldenheart.

"Rainpaw..?" she murmured, tilting her head. "I'm sorry Dovefeather, I'm not sure.." Goldenheart apoligized, desperately trying to think of Rainpaw's whereabouts. She had seen him this morning by the Nursery, but not since then.

"Well, I saw him by the Nursery this morning, but I haven't seen him since then." she mewed, glancing at the ground. Her legs aching, Goldenheart stood up and stretched her muscles briefly. "But if I do see him, I'll let you know." she promised, her mind set on finding the giddy apprentice.

"Thank you," Dovefeather dipped her head and walked to the nursery.
She popped her head inside.
"Rainpaw!" She called the mischievous little apprentice's name, but no reply.

Goldenheart felt more pain coming from her stomach, so she headed towards the Nursery. She hadn't realized Dovefeather, so she akwardly stepped around the slender she-cat, which was difficult doing so with a large belly. Finally squeezing through the entrance, Goldenheart found her nest and lay down in it gently, so as to not disturb the kits.
