Flamekit frowned at Skullkit's apology and grinned. "It's okay! I know you didn't mean to." he purred. 'I would probably do the same to you- if I could!" he joked, referring to Skullkit's strength. He was still angry with his Mother for being so harsh on Skullkit, but he could never hold a grudge on his Mother.

Skullkit laughed "Yeah. I bet if you were as big as me, you could get me like that to!" Skullkit alsways sold himself short. Not much self esteem.... It was a shame. The young tom had a lot of potential, especially in the mind's sense.

Flamekit shook his head and positioned himself into a hunting crouch. "No way! You're so awesome, I bet you can beat any apprentice in a battle!" he squeaked, his eyes shining in admiration. He looked up to Skullkit like a brother, and a mentor; even if he wasn't an apprentice yet.

Skullkit shook his head "No way, you'll turn out much better than me. I wasn't even born here.... at least... I don't think I was." Skullkit couldn't remember anything of his life except for when he woke up in the camp ground.

Flamekit cocked his head in a confused expression. "What are you talking about? Sure you were born here!" he giggled. He didn't know who Skullkit's parents were, but that didn't change anything, right? He pulled back his lips in a playful snarl and wiggled his haunches. "Grr! I'm a big tiger!" he warned, trying to replace the amused look in his eye with pretend fierce.
