Icepath sat down on her hindqauters, knowing it would be a while before the others were ready for thier patrol. "I don't know why Shadefur is so hostile towards the other clans. Its like she's a rogue inside the body of a warrior!" she meowed, licking a paw to run over her head.

"I don't know," Poisonedleaf sat next to her. "Do you think something happened in her past? or does she just not like them? There has to be a reason," She began to groom as well. "Why do you think she dislikes them?"

Icepath thought carefully for a mintute before speaking. "Maybe it was the way her mother or father treated her. Sometimes its how the patrents treat thier kist that affect them later." Icepath curled her thick tail over her paws.

"Oh, yeah, you have a point there. Has she ever talked about them?" Poisonedleaf pulled her tail over to the front of her legs so she could groom it. She licked it until it became flat and silky. "What did her parents do to her?"

Icepath pinned her ears back while she looked at the ground. "Well...I don't know. I was born after her kits so I don't know what they did. It was only a guess." she amited, scruffing her paw along the ground.

"Oh, right sorry," Poisonedleaf looked away. She wondered if the breezeclan cats were listening to their conversation. "I really hope Horsestar comes and takes them, the clan seems so suspicious, and secretive, i mean i understand, but its not like they came here to spy on us," She licked her paw.

Flamekit cracked open his eyes and squinted from the bright sunlight of Dawn peaking into the Nursery. Glancing up, he realized that his Mother and Sister were still sleeping. A sneaky grin spread across his face and he quietly wriggled out of their nest. Flamekit scampered to the Nursery entrance, his wide eyes staring around eagerly around the camp clearing.

"Where do you think you are going?" Dovefeather came out of the warriors den, by scent, knowing the little kit was awake. "Don't plan on taking a night walk in the forest are you?" She eyed him with a friendly look in her eyes, not scolding.
