Flamekit stopped adrubtly and slowly looked up at Dovefeather. "Grrrowl! I was going to destroy all the badgers in our territory!" he boasted, puffing out his fluffy chest to make himself look bigger. His tiny claws unseathed and tore at the patch of grass and mud infront of him.

Dovefeather giggled in amusement. "Don't worry, you will have your chance, and you may want to save your charm for those mangy badgers," She licked him between the ears. "But right now, its best if you stay away from them, are you hungry?" She asked.

Skullkit watched as Flamekit attacked the moss. He wanted to play to, but didn't really know how to ask. He was still quite shy after entering this new environment, and hadn't exactly made friends yet. But... life goes on.....

Who had told him that?

"Come on," Nightflower told Echopaw, leading the apprentice to the edge of camp. "Do you want to go hunting or not?" she snapped, becoming more impatient. She just wanted to get the day over with, today was a reather boring day.
Pearlkit blinked open her eyes, her brother wasn't beside her! "Huh?" the pearly white kit stood up, being careful not to wake Goldenheart. She padded out of the den, spotting Flamekit and Skullkit near the camp clearing. The orange kit was attacking some moss, "Wait for me!" she squeaked and raced over.
"Shadefur is being rather crabby...." Whitepelt joined in on the cats conversation, his voice trailed off as her realized they should be on patrol. "Lets get going," he meowed to Leafclaw and Icepath.
"Thanks," Graywing meowed to Posinedleaf, gulping down the water vole in front of him. It wasn't as good as rabbit, but it tasted okay.

"Of course," she dipped her head. "And don't worry, i am sure Horsestar will be here soon," She looked at the entrance and sighed. "I hope he gets here soon," she mumbled under her breath. "If you need more water, just ask," She stood up and headed toward the fresh kill pile, for she had not eaten. She picked a plump fish from the bottom and began to eat.

Flamekit turned his head as Pearlkit ran over. He grinned and threw the moss-ball right into his Sister's face, he began to laugh as the bits of moss stuck to her muzzle. "Too slow!" he giggled.

Pearlkit scrunched up her face "You're too slow!" she growled playfully and tumbled into her brother.
"I hope so," Graywing sighed, replying to Posinedleaf. He watched as Hollyheart gulped down her water vole, then lapped up the water.

Flamekit squeaked in defiance as Pearlkit suddenly bowled into him. "Well, I'm Hawkstar! I'm big and strong!" he growled, rolling over and pinning his Sister down. He yowled in victory and battered his seathed paws on Pearlkit's flank.

Skullkit watched, his head tilted to the side as he watched his nursery mates play. He didn't remember much from his early kithood, so he wasn't really sure how to play. He shuffled his paws nervously as he watched Pearlkit and Flamekit rough house.
Moonstar paced the camp. She had to leave soon with the patrol.....
Which cats were going?
"Nighflower!" she meowed, calling her deputy over to report.
((Please tell me if I need to modify for Moonstar... I just adopted her...))
